New operator looks to expand, diversify Westwood farmers market

A new operator for the Westwood Village Farmers Market has been working to diversify vendors, survey customer preference and ensure compliance. UCLA launches improved mobile app to request rides from campus van service

Students can now use an improved mobile application when requesting rides from the campus van service that picks them up in the evening. Questions arise about Persian Square in the Westwood Neighborhood Council

Several Westwood community members think a proposed neighborhood council should not include Persian Square while others believe the new council would benefit the Persian community. Westwood Forward, a coalition of students, business owners and homeowners created earlier in November, proposed subdividing the Westwood Neighborhood Council to better represent the interests of students and business owners near UCLA.
