7-Eleven opens new location in Westwood, caters to UCLA community

Westwood Village’s latest store is serving up Slurpees and hot dogs. 7-Eleven opened a new store on Westwood Boulevard and Weyburn Avenue on Thursday. The orange, green and red stripes of the convenience store now wrap the previously unoccupied clock tower building in the Village. Read more...

Westwood Neighborhood Council member, doctoral student resigns

Westwood Neighborhood Council recap – June 14

The Westwood Neighborhood Council meets monthly to discuss issues pertaining to Westwood Village and the surrounding areas. Comments Ana Huizar, a representative from the Los Angeles Office of Community Beautification, said the group plans to start a beautification program to help clean up Westwood’s streets.
