Los Angeles will not desert water regulations despite wet year

Los Angeles does not have any plans to rollback water conservation policies following recent rainfall. During the drought, the city of Los Angeles and Mayor Eric Garcetti introduced new regulations to conserve water, including limiting water usage for landscaping and irrigation, and adopting more water-efficient plumbing in homes. Westwood Neighborhood Council recap – April 12

The Westwood Neighborhood Council meets monthly to discuss issues pertaining to Westwood Village and the surrounding areas. Comments by public officials Niki Svara, operations manager of the Westwood Village Improvement Association, said the association is working on sidewalk reconstruction on Westwood Boulevard down to Weyburn Avenue and fixed some electrical problems with tree lighting in Westwood Village. Officials combat illegal furniture dumping in Village with workshops

Proposed state bill could extend alcohol sales hours
