New KazuNori location brings hand-rolled sushi to Westwood Village

Sushi chefs swiftly rolled rice, fish and seaweed in front of dozens of new customers who visited a restaurant when it opened Tuesday. KazuNori, located in a recently restored building on Gayley and Kinross avenues, is a sushi bar where chefs prepare sushi by hand instead of using a mat, said Clement Mok, one of the brand’s founding members. Westwood Neighborhood Council members announced

Westwood voters elected four new council members and 15 incumbents to the Westwood Neighborhood Council June 5. The city clerk certified the council members Friday, including newcomers Trent Jolly, a rental residential group director, Philip Gabriel, a business group director, Caroline Conway, an educational community director and Chantelle Eastman, an at large director.
