Westwood business owners struggle to obtain liquor licenses

Hundreds of students march in Westwood to protest Trump’s inauguration

New crosswalk coming to Westwood between Weyburn and Kinross

Westwood residents and visitors will soon be able to use a new crosswalk on one of the longest blocks in Westwood Village. A new pedestrian crosswalk is under construction on Westwood Boulevard between Weyburn and Kinross avenues, after the Westwood Village Improvement Association approved it last year. Read more...

Saturday BruinBus destination changes from Santa Monica to Hollywood

A UCLA shuttle will transport students from the Hill to the Hollywood area this quarter. UCLA Office of Residential Life changed the free Saturday BruinBus shuttle’s destination from Santa Monica to two different locations: Hollywood and Highland, and The Grove. Read more...

Westwood Community Council recap – Jan. 18

The Westwood Community Council meets several times a year to discuss issues relevant to the Westwood Village business and residential community. Discussion Janet Turner, field representative and constituent services of Congressman Ted Lieu, said the post office recently improved training for mail carriers and the Enterprise Customer Care system, which helps accurately locate packages. BruinBus adds three new stops to routes, more access to Westwood

Students will be able to catch the BruinBus at three additional locations on campus and in Westwood. Students and staff taking the northbound Wilshire route through Westwood Village can now stop behind the Hammer Museum on Lindbrook Drive. Read more...
