Westwood officials installed their first wave of wayfinding signs last week in an attempt to help visitors navigate Westwood Village. The Westwood Village Improvement Association, also known as the BID, spent about $200,000 to add 26 small signs meant for pedestrians, 42 larger signs meant for cars and three directories, said Andrew Thomas, executive director of the BID. Francesca’s, a contemporary women’s clothing and accessories boutique, will open Saturday in Westwood Village, adding another retail store to the area.
