Students, community members participate in Westwood homeless count

Community members documented the number of people experiencing homelessness in Westwood as part of a larger Los Angeles wide count Jan. 22. Both first-time volunteers and returners – including UCLA students and faculty – participated in the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, an annual three-day count of the amount of people experiencing homelessness within different LA communities. Broxton Brewery & Public House leaves Westwood Village after 7 years

UCPD investigates reported rape on Landfair Avenue Sunday

This post was updated Jan. 13 at 9:45 p.m. UCPD is investigating a reported rape that allegedly occurred Sunday on Landfair Avenue.   The incident took place at a fraternity located on the 600 block of Landfair Avenue, said Jeffrey Chobanian, the captain of UCPD’s operations bureau, in an emailed statement.
