Chirac’s proposed law discriminatory, hypocritical
Twenty schoolgirls in Lille, France have been expelled from school. According to French President Jacques Chirac, they are a threat to national cohesion, France’s founding principles of secularism and their behavior “is a sort of aggression that is difficult for us to accept.” You might think they formed a club at school dedicated to starting a revolution in the countryside where they would stage a military coup to overthrow the French government and replace it with a fanatical, religious regime.
