Bye-lines: Appreciation, quality, friendship is, in fact, the key
Old editors in chief warned me about feeling deep sadness and undergoing difficult withdrawal periods after leaving the Daily Bruin. Dealing with student government officers angry about an editorial every other day, staying until 1 or 2 a.m., working on a sensitive news story, or having to completely improvise a midterm I had no time to study for all made the concept of missing The Bruin very unrealistic.
