Photo: The California Social Science Experimental Laboratory, which houses 70 of these individual workstations, is set to be closed on June 7. The lab, founded in 2000, focuses on research in the social sciences, including fields such as experimental economics, finance and sociology. In addition to an on-site lab, it also conducts web-based experiments.
