Bruins salvage series with win against Utes in Sunday finale

The Bruins wanted Kyle Molnar to take the ball in position to win this weekend’s series with the Utah Utes. The series didn’t play out that way, but the freshman right-hander did his job Sunday, helping UCLA baseball (20-21, 10-11 Pac-12) earn a 10-3 win in the final contest of its three-game set with conference-leading Utah (16-23, 11-7). UCLA’s hitting surge to be tested by top-rated Fullerton pitching

UCLA baseball takes down Ducks with three-game sweep

UCLA baseball had already won the series entering Saturday’s game against Oregon, but the Bruins didn’t exactly look content with a series win. They blew out the Ducks 13-1, pulling off a three-game sweep that pushed UCLA (19-18, 9-9 Pac-12) over Oregon (17-17, 7-8 Pac-12) in the conference standings. Read more...
