Health concerns lead to uncertainties about football’s spring game format

Chip Kelly remained unsure on the status of this weekend’s UCLA football spring game before Tuesday morning’s practice. “We’re hopeful,” the coach said. “I’ve always wanted to play a game, but we won’t be able to determine that until after (practice on) Thursday.” The reason for uncertainty revolves around the Bruins’ lack of depth at a handful of positions due to health concerns. UCLA football eager to utilize powerhouse trio of tight ends

Chip Kelly’s offenses at Oregon were known for their breakneck tempo between plays and for overwhelming defenses with blazing-fast athletes. Defensive back Quentin Lake looks to fill Jaleel Wadood’s shoes in starting lineup

Josh Rosen, other NFL draft prospects participate in UCLA Pro Day

All eyes were on quarterback Josh Rosen on Thursday afternoon. UCLA football hosted its 2018 Pro Day at Spaulding Field. All of the players from last season’s roster who declared for the NFL draft participated, including Rosen, offensive lineman Kolton Miller, wide receiver Jordan Lasley and linebacker Kenny Young.
