NFL teams call on undrafted UCLA players
While four UCLA football players received calls from NFL teams during last weekend’s draft indicating they were being taken, there were plenty of other Bruins sitting at home and fielding calls for a different reason. Read more...
Photo: Tight end Joseph Fauria, who held or tied for the lead in touchdown receptions in all three of his seasons with the Bruins, went undrafted this past weekend, but, like several other former UCLA players, signed with an NFL team after the draft. Fauria will work for a roster spot on the Detroit Lions.

For UCLA football coach Jim Mora, the NFL Draft was once spent in the war room. The former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks oversaw three NFL drafts combined during his tenure with the two teams, and participated in plenty more as an assistant coach with other teams. UCLA football Spring Showcase recap
UCLA football coach Jim Mora pined for a large showing of Bruin fans at the Rose Bowl on Saturday for the team’s Spring Showcase. While Mora’s target audience was to get at least 50,000 fans out to see the Bruins’ scrimmage, the coach was happy with the product in the stands and on the field even if his crowd expectations fell short.
