Jim L. Mora was announced as UCLA’s next football coach by Athletic Director Dan Guerrero on Saturday.

I'm not really sure what we're supposed to take out of Friday night's inaugural Pac-12 Championship game. It seemed like this was the first time in this Thunder-Mountain-ride of a UCLA football season that everything that was supposed to happen actually did. Redshirt junior linebacker Patrick Larimore intercepts Oregon quarterback Darron Thomas’ pass and returns it for a touchdown in the first quarter. Larimore finished the season as UCLA’s leading tackler, with 75 total tackles and one sack. The redshirt junior was one of the few pieces on the UCLA defense who was able to avoid injury; Larimore has started every game for the Bruins this year and is expected to start in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl as well.

Rick Neuheisel's UCLA tenure began with fireworks, which shot into the nighttime sky when the Bruins upset the then-No. 18 Tennessee Volunteers in overtime at the Rose Bowl. Read more...
