Senior Tauny Frattone scored a perfect 10.00 on vault to propel the No. 3 UCLA gymnastics team to a 197.525-196.475 victory over No. 2 Oklahoma. Sunday’s meet was the Bruins’ final meet of the season and their last at the John Wooden Center. Six seniors were honored after the meet.


Gymnastics falls to cross-country rival Georgia

Blanketed in a sea of black T-shirts and red body paint, Stegeman Coliseum was buzzing with the applause of Georgia fans as UCLA entered the arena of its cross-country rival Friday night. After sitting out last year due to an Achilles injury, redshirt junior Vanessa Zamarripa looked like she was back in full form Sunday against Arizona State. Zamarripa earned a 39.625 in the all-around as the Bruins scored a nation-high 198.050 against the Sun Devils.
