The No. 33 UCLA men’s golf team finished 14th atthe Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate after shooting 25-over 889 last weekend. Throughout the tournament, freshman Spencer Soosman matched or surpassed his teammates with performances of 1-under 71 in the first round, 4-over 76 in the second round and closed out with 1-under 71. The UCLA men’s golf team ended its regular season on a melancholy note. Coming off a 14th-place performance at The Goodwin, the Bruins finished in ninth out of a field of 14 teams at the Western Intercollegiate in Santa Cruz, never really a threat for a top place on the leaderboard. Read more...
