UCLA men’s soccer to face Clemson in second round of NCAA tournament

Following a first-round victory, the Bruins will head across the country with hopes of extending their season further than last year. UCLA men’s soccer edges out Cal Baptist, advances to NCAA Tournament Round of 32

For the first time all season, the Bruins’ starting goalkeeper wasn’t suited up. But five saves from the second-string keeper freshman Sam Joseph and four shots on goal proved enough to punch the blue and gold’s ticket to the Round of 32.  UCLA men’s soccer (11-6-1, 4-4-1 Pac-12) scraped out a 2-1 victory against Cal Baptist University (11-7-3, 4-3-2 WAC) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, its final game of the season at Wallis Annenberg Stadium. UCLA men’s soccer prepares to face Cal Baptist in first round of NCAA tournament

In 2010, Cal Baptist moved from the NCCAA to NCAA Division II. 12 years later, the Lancers have ascended to NCAA Division I Tournament eligibility, and their first postseason test will be against their former head coach, now UCLA coach Ryan Jorden. Read more...

UCLA men’s soccer defeats SDSU in final conference match ahead of NCAA tournament

Following the cancellation of an Oregon State rematch last Sunday, the Bruins have capped off their regular season on a high note.
