UCLA men’s volleyball to renew rivalry with Irvine

It’s hard to discuss the prominence of the UC Irvine men’s volleyball program without first making mention of UCLA. In fact, many of UC Irvine’s accomplishments come attached with the footnote, “since UCLA.” The Anteaters are the first team to win back-to-back national championships, as they did in 2012 and 2013, since UCLA managed the feat in 1996. UCLA men’s volleyball wins Outrigger Hotels Invitational

UCLA men’s volleyball came out swinging in the team’s last opportunity for improvement before conference play opens this weekend. The Bruins captured the first set of every match they played over the weekend at the Outrigger Hotels Invitational, setting the tone for a dominant performance that culminated in their 3-1 win over the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors Saturday to claim the tournament title. Bruins gain invitational win over Penn State
