Senior goalkeeper Matt Rapacz survived an overtime scare in UCLA’s game against Stanford. UCLA won 10-9 in overtime of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament, earning a spot in the NCAA championships.

The UCLA men’s water polo team celebrates following a sudden death overtime victory over No. 4 Stanford. Sophomore attacker Daniel Lenhart scored the game-winner on the Bruins’ first possession of the period. UCLA will also receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament thanks to USC’s victory over Cal in the MPSF tournament.


Men’s water polo take on Pacific to open MPSF Tournament

Senior attacker Griffin White and the second-ranked UCLA men’s water polo team will head to USC’s McDonald’s Swim Stadium Friday to open up the MPSF Tournament. The Bruins won the conference title last year.
