Bruins gear up to take on the Waves at MPSF Tournament

Now, everyone starts over. No more thinking about the 20-4 record that the men's water polo team carried through the season. No more worrying about the standings, or the seedings or the rankings. Junior utility Josh Samuels and the No. 1 ranked UCLA men’s water polo team will play against No. 8 Pacific today at Spieker Aquatics Center and will travel to La Jolla on Sunday to play No. 11 UC San Diego.

UCLA men’s water polo coach Adam Wright is no stranger to the Olympic spotlight, as he went with the national team to Athens in 2004 and Beijing in 2008. Last week, Wright and the national team won gold at the Pan American Games, securing the U.S. a spot at the 2012 Olympics.
