Beach volleyball falls to USC in final of Pac-12 championship

The No. 2 UCLA beach volleyball team (29-4) broke No. 1 USC’s (34-1) 62 dual winning streak in the Pac-12 championship semifinal Friday. The Bruins had handed the Trojans their first defeat in 413 days Friday at Bear Down Beach in Tucson, Arizona, winning by a set score of 3-2. Read more...

Eleven UCLA football players join NFL teams following 2017 draft

The 2017 draft is in the books and five UCLA players, including first-round pick Takkarist McKinley, heard their names called this week. Five other players also signed as undrafted free agents to round out the Bruins’ draft weekend with 10 players on nine different teams. Read more...

Women’s water polo completes comeback over Cal to advance to MPSF final

UCLA women’s water polo had to overcome something on Saturday it hasn’t faced in two months – a deficit heading into the fourth quarter. With a little over five minutes left in the game and after losing a three-goal lead it had built up earlier in the game, freshman attacker Maddie Musselman netted her thid goal of the day to tie the game at eight. Pitcher Griffin Canning leads baseball to windy win over Cal Poly

The Bruin offense didn’t give Griffin Canning very much support Friday night, but he didn’t need it. The junior ace tossed 8 2/3 innings on 110 pitches, allowing one run and striking out 10 without walking a batter in UCLA baseball’s (20-18) 2-1 victory over Cal Poly (18-22). Read more...

Softball to face Stanford with momentum of five-game win streak

Track and field underclassmen prepare for rivalry meet versus USC
