John Speraw extends contract to coach Team USA through 2020 Olympics

UCLA softball to open WCWS double-elimination play against Auburn

McDonald first Bruin to claim singles, doubles titles in the same year

UCLA takes both doubles and singles titles in NCAA championship

Two titles are a fitting end to a dominant display by UCLA men’s tennis. Four hours after Mackie McDonald won the NCAA Division I singles championship, the junior teamed up with sophomore Martin Redlicki to defeat Texas A&M’s Arthur Rinderknech and Jackson Withrow 6-4, 6-1 to win the NCAA Division I doubles championship. Vigorous showing at regionals earns Bruins spots in NCAA championship

The thunder and lightning weren’t the only things to make impressions on the NCAA track and field Western Regional championship this weekend. Eleven of the 37 Bruins who went to Kansas are moving on to the NCAA national championship meet in a week and a half, despite the weather subjecting them to an unfavorable reorganization of events. Mackie McDonald wins 2016 NCAA Division I men’s singles championship
