Women’s basketball optimistic about position in Pac-12 tournament

Things could be worse for the women’s basketball team. Things could be like last year. The Bruins went into the 2014-2015 season ranked, but after a tumultuous schedule that included an 8-10 conference record, they were in a position to either win the Pac-12 tournament or not make it to the NCAA tournament. Men’s volleyball looks to complete back-to-back wins against UCSB

Women’s water polo heads to Michigan bolstered by strong record

UCLA women’s water polo has competed in seven Wolverine Invitationals historically and has only lost once. The Bruins have struggled in some of their nationwide invitationals over the program’s 17 seasons, but it seems that their weekends in Ann Arbor, Michigan, aren’t among those. Read more...

Beach volleyball opens season against the nation’s top four teams

For the first time since 2012, Stein Metzger doesn’t have the same commitments that took him away from Westwood in the fall. Over summer, the UCLA beach volleyball coach relinquished his assistant coach position with the women’s volleyball team, and with it went the days spent traveling to arenas of other Pac-12 teams and recruiting trips.
