Court rejects payment of NCAA student-athletes
A three-judge panel Wednesday upheld a 2014 ruling that found that the NCAA was too strict in defining the amateur status of its student-athletes. The panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit did not accept the judge’s suggestion that NCAA programs should pay their athletes $5,000 per year. Read more...

UCLA football looks to potential impact of turnovers against ASU
Looking merely at the scores from last week, it would appear that UCLA football has a huge advantage over Arizona State this Saturday. No. 9 UCLA (4-0, 1-0 Pac-12) pummeled Arizona last week, 56-30, while Arizona State was trounced by USC, 42-14. Read more...
