Former soccer goalkeeper Brian Rowe secures a spot on Los Angeles Galaxy
It was official: Rowe finally had a place to call home for the rest of the season after spending most of his first year out of college bouncing around from team to team. He was signed by the defending MLS champions on July 13 and was officially a member of the Galaxy when they faced the Timbers the next day. Read more...

Two former UCLA athletes awarded Pac-12 Tom Hansen Conference Medal
As a result of their combination of achievements, Camuso and Rose were awarded the Tom Hansen Conference Medal. The medal is awarded by the Pac-12 every year to the top senior male and female athletes of each institution based on "the exhibition of the greatest combination of performance and achievement in scholarship, athletics and leadership." Two UCLA rowers compete with the USA national team in the Under-23 World Championships
