Former soccer goalkeeper Brian Rowe secures a spot on Los Angeles Galaxy

It was official: Rowe finally had a place to call home for the rest of the season after spending most of his first year out of college bouncing around from team to team. The Los Angeles Galaxy just signed former UCLA goalkeeper Brian Rowe. Rowe had been drafted by Chivas USA, but let go. Two of Galaxy’s three goalkeepers are alumni from UCLA.


Two former UCLA athletes awarded Pac-12 Tom Hansen Conference Medal

As a result of their combination of achievements, Camuso and Rose were awarded the Tom Hansen Conference Medal. The medal is awarded by the Pac-12 every year to the top senior male and female athletes of each institution based on "the exhibition of the greatest combination of performance and achievement in scholarship, athletics and leadership." Read more...

Two members of the UCLA women's rowing team "“ rising senior Britta Syverson and rising junior Carolina Paini "“ were selected to compete in the Under-23 World Championships in Trakai, Lithuania.
