Shortly after wrapping up her part in UCLA's victory over Washington State on Friday, the women's tennis captain and resident baker walked over to the rest of her team with a pink container full of homemade cookies when she was stopped by director of tennis operations Grant Chen and sophomore Morgan Thomas. No. 9 UCLA baseball defeats crosstown rival USC, 7-2, in Dodgertown Classic

On a day that saw Major League Baseball reject two separate bids to buy the Los Angeles Dodgers franchise from outgoing owner Frank McCourt, Dodger Stadium played host to the third installment of the Dodgertown Classic between UCLA and USC. The Dodger drama was set aside for a few hours on Tuesday night as 6,034 Bruin and Trojan fans came together "“ albeit on different sides of the stadium "“ to watch their teams go head-to-head in one of baseball's historic venues. Senior Tauny Frattone scored a perfect 10.00 on vault to propel the No. 3 UCLA gymnastics team to a 197.525-196.475 victory over No. 2 Oklahoma. Sunday’s meet was the Bruins’ final meet of the season and their last at the John Wooden Center. Six seniors were honored after the meet.
