Junior first baseman Dean Espy (far left) and No. 17 UCLA clinched the Pac-10 title this weekend, despite its 10-5 loss to No. 10 Arizona State on Sunday. The Bruins also learned that they will be one of the 16 teams hosting an NCAA Regional, although they have the worst RPI among the host teams.



Women’s track and field shows a fierce fight in the Preliminary Round for the NCAA Championships

This weekend the Bruins were in Eugene, Ore. competing in the NCAA Preliminary Round. For some record-holding UCLA athletes, this competition was the last time they would proudly don their wearied sneakers as Bruins, while for others it was but a launchpad to the NCAA Championships and with it, UCLA history.
