Inconsistent Bruins fail to fend off Trojan attacks

It was the UCLA women's volleyball team's chance to carry over the momentum built after an impressive preseason run into conference play. Bruins fall to UCSB, defeat CSUF

UC Santa Barbara launched a campaign to promote the season ticket sales for its soccer team this past summer. The heading: "Tortillas will be the least of their problems," referencing the long-standing UCSB fan tradition of tossing tortillas onto the field to baffle opponents while also asserting that the Gaucho team and its fans are ready to wreck havoc. Defense bounces back for men’s water polo

Andrew Mesesan wasn't fazed by much Saturday night. His teammate, Matt Rapacz "“ the usual starter in goal "“ sat on the pool deck with a sling protecting his left shoulder. The long-time star goalkeeper for UCLA, Chay Lapin "“ last year's starter in goal "“ sat on the other side of the pool, in the crowd, eagerly cheering his old team on.
