Photo: UCLA will begin to renegotiate their multimillion-dollar contract with adidas in the coming weeks. If a deal is not made by April 1, the athletic department may hear offers from other companies. The contract expires on June 30, 2011 at which point the three stripes may disappear from UCLA athletic gear.

Battle of the Columnists: The expansion of the Pac-10

Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott announced in a teleconference with reporters on Feb. 9 that the conference is considering expanding to 12 teams. Scott made the announcement on the same day that he hired former Big 12 commissioner Kevin Weiberg as his deputy commissioner and chief operating officer. Read more...
