M. tennis: Men’s tennis ready to face Trojans

This promises to be a match of firsts for the UCLA men’s tennis team. It’s the first time the No. 2 Bruins (8-0) will face a highly ranked opponent, the first time they will play a match on the road, and, most importantly, the first time the team is expected to be at full strength. W. hoops: Arizona narrowly defeats UCLA

Down by three with 17 seconds remaining to Arizona, UCLA women’s coach Kathy Olivier diagrammed an offensive set to perfection. A double pick was designed to free up Lisa Willis at the top of the key, and the junior responded by burying a 3-pointer to tie the score, appearing to send the game into overtime. Read more...
