Life without Nikki Blue is one thought that no player or coach on the UCLA women’s basketball team ever wants to encounter again. Already having endured a right ankle sprain and a mild concussion, Blue received a blow to the face causing her neck to be jolted back during the waning seconds of UCLA’s 70-54 victory over Oregon on Tuesday. M. basketball: Injury ends season for senior guard

Two days after finally working his way into UCLA’s rotation, Janou Rubin learned he will not be a part of it any longer. The redshirt senior, who logged a season-high 16 minutes in UCLA’s win over Oregon on Sunday, will miss the remainder of the year after an MRI taken Monday revealed loose bone chips in his left knee.
