M. Tennis: Men’s tennis aces Kentucky

Football: Axman let go; Cable moves up

Months of speculation were finally put to rest Thursday when UCLA football coach Karl Dorrell announced that offensive coordinator Steve Axman has been fired. Axman will be replaced by offensive line coach Tom Cable, who was brought onto the UCLA coaching staff last month after serving four years as head coach at Idaho. Read more...

All that was missing were the elephants and the funny red noses because what started out as a seesaw battle nearly erupted into a circus.
