Cory Paus serves 96-hour sentence

The Associated Press UCLA quarterback Cory Paus has begun serving his 96-hour sentence for a misdemeanor conviction of driving under the influence of alcohol. Paus checked in Thursday at the Metropolitan Branch of Los Angeles Superior Court, and was later transported to the Twin Towers facility in downtown Los Angeles, where he is expected to remain until Sunday night or Monday morning, prosecuting attorney Larry Shelley said.
