Women’s basketball sheds light on continuing gender inequity despite NCAA changes

This year, the NCAA doled out $5 million to address disparities between the men’s and women’s March Madness tournaments. The expansion of the women’s tournament to 68 teams, gym equipment, swag bags, hotel accommodations and the official use of the “March Madness” logo are now all the same between the two leagues, among other aspects. UCLA gymnastics tops leaderboard in second round of NCAA Raleigh Regional

Men’s tennis prepares to face Washington, Oregon during Pacific Northwest trip

After routing a fellow Southern California school at home, the Bruins will restart conference play in the Pacific Northwest. Following a 7-0 sweep of San Diego State on Tuesday, UCLA men’s tennis (6-8, 1-1 Pac-12) will travel north to take on Washington (13-5, 1-1) and Oregon (9-7, 0-2) on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
