UCLA women’s soccer opens regular season with win over UC Irvine

The Bruins’ revamped backline wasted no time getting itself acclimated. Making the first start of her career and slotting in along the defensive backline, redshirt junior midfielder Madelyn Desiano notched her first assist in a UCLA uniform in the third minute as she helped set up senior midfielder Maricarmen Reyes for the Bruins’ first score of the season. Women’s soccer to kick off season against UC Irvine in home game

Following 120 minutes of exhibition soccer last week, results will now count for the Bruins. No. 5 UCLA women’s soccer opens its season at home against UC Irvine on Thursday before facing Cal State Fullerton on Sunday on the road in its first two games of the 2021 campaign. Read more...
