UCLA football expects aggressive play from Hawai’i in 1st game of 2021 season

The 2021 football season has arrived. UCLA football will kick off its new campaign at the Rose Bowl with a matchup against Hawai’i on Saturday. The game marks the first time since September 2019 that the Bruins will play an opponent outside the Pac-12, giving them the chance to win a nonconference game for the first time in the coach Chip Kelly era. Men’s soccer looks to maintain its winning streak for season openers

It’s been almost a decade since the Bruins last lost a season opener. Attacking trio leads women’s soccer to score three goals each in starting games

The Bruins are the only team in the Pac-12 to score three or more goals in their first two contests. No. 4 UCLA women’s soccer (2-0) opened its season with three goals in each of its first two matches as it triumphed 3-1 over UC Irvine and held Cal State Fullerton scoreless in a 3-0 win. Men’s soccer prepares fresh start bolstered by mix of new recruits, veterans

When coach Ryan Jorden came to UCLA in 2019, there were only 17 names on his roster. After two years of instilling his soccer philosophy into the team and growing his talent pool, Jorden enters his third year with men’s soccer having won and secured clean sheets in its first two exhibition games against Westmont and Cal Poly by scores of 3-0 and 1-0, respectively.
