With big shutout, UCLA softball takes home series over Oregon State

Hitting was the name of the game for the Bruins to bring their winning streak to eight Friday night. No. 3 UCLA softball (35-4, 11-3 Pac-12) scored double-digit runs in five innings for an 11-0 victory against Oregon State (11-22-1, 2-11-1) thanks to small adjustments and big swings in game two of the home series. UCLA softball hits series opener against Oregon State out of the park

What started as a battle of pitchers ended with the Bruins hitting their series opener out of the park. No. 3 UCLA softball (34-4, 10-3 Pac-12) began its home series against Oregon State (11-21-1, 2-10-1) on Thursday with a 6-2 win, complete with a display of hitting prowess from freshman infielder Jordan Woolery. With freshman-heavy lineup, UCLA softball readies to face Oregon State

After sweeping their last conference series, as well as winning a midweek non-conference game, the Bruins are coming home. No. 3 UCLA softball (33-4, 9-3 Pac-12) will kick off its series against Oregon State (11-20-1, 2-9-1) at Easton Stadium on Thursday with the chance to extend its current six-game winning streak. UCLA softball ‘could not stop’ after drought-ending single in victory over UCSD

The third time up to bat was the charm for the Bruins on Tuesday night. After two scoreless innings by both teams, No. 3 UCLA softball (33-4, 9-3 Pac-12) defeated UC San Diego (14-20, 4-5 Big West) at the Triton Softball Field by a nine-run margin, concluding after only six innings with a score of 10-1.
