Track and field sees positive results in Pac-12 vs. Big Ten Invitational

The men’s 4×100-meter relay team put together a performance Saturday that UCLA track and field had not seen since 2012. At the Pac-12 vs. Big Ten Invitational, sprinters senior Leon Powell, sophomore Rai Benjamin, senior Darnell Roberson and sophomore Damion Marshall took second place finish with a time of 39.91 seconds. Track and field unable to crack top 10 at NCAA indoor championships

Track and field athletes to face top competition in NCAA championships

Track and field meet against Long Beach State ends with event wins

With the indoor invitationals behind them, the UCLA track and field team opened up its outdoor season this past weekend. The Bruins, who according to director Mike Maynard are training through the early season meets in preparation for championship season later in the year, took first place in roughly half of the events that were offered in their dual meet against the Long Beach State 49ers on Saturday.
