Women's basketball announces hiring of three new assistant coaches

One month removed from taking office as the head coach of the UCLA women's basketball team, Cori Close announced on Friday the completion of her coaching staff with the hiring of three new assistant coaches. Former associate head coach for Florida State University Cori Close is replacing former coach Nikki Caldwell, who left UCLA last month for a coaching position at LSU. This is Close’s first stint as a head coach, and she hopes to carry on what Caldwell started.

The men’s basketball team home game venues have been announced. They will play 14 games at the L.A Memorial Sports Arena, four games at the Honda Center and one game at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
