Dear incoming Bruins, welcome to the Daily Bruin’s 2024 Orientation Issue. As the student newspaper on the UCLA campus, The Bruin is thrilled to give new students a look into the vibrant UCLA community. This collection of articles and multimedia is part of our annual Orientation Issue magazine – which is mailed out to all incoming first-year and transfer students – and covers facets of the UCLA experience, including UCLA’s move to the Big Ten, potential minimum wage increases, hidden gems near campus and data on UCLA admissions.
