On April 25, the UC Divest Coalition and Students for Justice in Palestine at UCLA set up around 30 tents to demand UC divestment from the Israeli military. As the war in Gaza passes it 200th day, students and community members began the encampment as part of a national call to action expressing solidarity with the people of Palestine and opposing repression of student protestors on American university campuses.
