Facing elimination after becoming the first-ever No. 1 overall seed to fall in its regional opener Friday, UCLA baseball (52-7, 28-2 Big Ten) kept its national title hopes alive by walking off No. 2 seed Virginia Tech (30-26, 15-15 ACC) 6-5 Saturday in the NCAA Los Angeles regional at Jackie Robinson Stadium.

The victory marks UCLA’s 30th comeback of the season and fourth walk-off of the postseason.
