The 2026 Women’s College World Series marked UCLA softball’s (53-10, 20-4 Big Ten) 34th trip to Oklahoma City in a chance to chase its 13th national championship.

The tournament began May 28 and concluded the Bruin careers of senior utility Megan Grant, senior pitcher Taylor Tinsley and senior first baseman Jordan Woolery. No. 8 seed UCLA fell to No. 1 seed Alabama (now 56-9, 19-5 SEC) 6-3 in its tournament opener, run-ruled Arkansas (47-13, 15-9 SEC) 11-0 in five innings in its first elimination game Friday and concluded its run at Devon Park on Sunday, falling to Texas Tech 8-7 (now 61-8, 21-3 Big 12).
