Student group raises money for hurricane victims in Haiti

Students dipped their hands into paint and pressed onto a white wooden board, creating an array of rainbow-colored handprints. New outdoor space near Powell, Humanities powers up student studying

UCLA officials finished constructing the first outdoor study space between Powell Library and the Humanities Building early last week. The Office of Instructional Development and UCLA Facilities Management collaborated to install several study benches with power outlets in the space during spring quarter, and completed the project this fall. Student draws from personal experience to advocate for Bruins with children
