Mobile ordering outage affects multiple dining halls

This post was updated Oct. 5 at 12:57 p.m. UCLA Dining’s mobile ordering faced systemwide outages earlier today, preventing students from ordering. The Transact Mobile Ordering app allows students to order food using their meal plans from UCLA’s takeout dining halls, including The Study at Hedrick, Rendezvous and Bruin Café. Read more...

Students express frustration over room assignments, exchanging process

As the school year approaches, many students are attempting to swap their allocated UCLA Housing rooms via Reddit and other social media platforms. UCLA clubs seek to keep members engaged, connected over summer break

Applications for new creative writing minor to open in fall

UCLA’s new creative writing minor will open applications this fall. The minor will require students to take two courses in a core genre – either short story or poetry – after completing two lower-division English courses, according to the 2023-2024 course catalog. Read more...

Community remembers Amy Lohmann for her service to students, patients

Amy Lohmann, a continuing lecturer at the UCLA School of Nursing, died Aug. 14 from breast cancer. She was 46 years old. Lohmann joined the school in 2012 after receiving her master’s degree in nursing from UCLA in 2005. Read more...
