A student-run organization aims to develop methods of generating renewable energy to help UCLA become more sustainable. The Renewable Energy Association (REA), a project-based organization that began in 2014, aims to educate the UCLA community about the importance of renewable energy and sustainability and enable students to develop solutions to environmental issues, said Ryan Condensa, REA president and a third-year chemical engineering student.
