SWC program lets students access free menstrual hygiene products on the Hill

This post was updated Nov. 8 at 9:44 a.m. Free menstrual hygiene products will be available on the Hill beginning Wednesday. BruiNecessities, a basic needs student advocacy group housed under the Undergraduate Students Association Council Student Wellness Commission, will provide the products in a box at the De Neve Office of Residential Life, located in the De Neve lobby. Questions of insufficiency remain during Greek life Title IX training

Students in fraternities and sororities learned about sexual harassment and unhealthy relationships at mandatory Title IX training this quarter. The UCLA Title IX Office, Campus Assault Resources & Education, and Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life hosted eight sexual violence prevention workshops this quarter for students in Greek life, said Aaron Lopez, the Associate Response Team coordinator at UCLA’s Title IX Office.
