University police are searching for a man involved in an off-campus assault Tuesday. The man allegedly approached the victim on Westwood Boulevard and Weyburn Avenue. University police are searching for multiple people who impersonated UCPD officers in an attempt to extort money from UCLA students and staff. UCPD on lookout for two men involved in burglary of off-campus apartment
University police are searching for two men who allegedly burglarized a UCLA student’s off-campus apartment Monday. The men entered an apartment on the 600 block of Landfair Avenue on Monday night and stole $4,500 in personal property, according to a UCPD alert. Read more...

Stanford students file lawsuit against UCLA, schools involved in admissions scandal
Two Stanford students filed a lawsuit Thursday against a number of universities named in the nationwide college admissions scandal. Students Erica Olsen and Kalea Woods are seeking to settle a class action complaint because they believe the worth of their degrees has been damaged as future employers will question the legitimacy of their admission to the school. Man arrested on charges of vandalism for slashing tires in UCLA parking lot
University police arrested a man on campus Sunday for vandalism. UCPD Lt. Kevin Kilgore said in an email that Rogelio Velez III, 48, was found slashing tires of cars at the Sunset Village parking structure on the Hill by witnesses and fled in a vehicle. Read more...
