USAC sets elections calendar for spring

Students interested in running for office in the upcoming undergraduate student government elections can pick up candidate application packets starting Monday. UCLA group promotes awareness of undocumented students

UCLA’s undocumented student group will hold a series of events this week to call attention to undocumented individuals’ needs and how deportation affects their families. The Improving Dreams, Equality, Access and Success student group, which represents undocumented students at UCLA , will hold its annual “National Coming Out of the Shadows” week to highlight immigration reform and showcase stories of undocumented communities . Animal adoption stalls put up at Farmers Market

UCLA celebrates 30 years of sustainable transportation

UCLA Transportation is currently celebrating 30 years of its sustainable transportation program, although regular commuters said they think even more can be done. The move to solve UCLA transportation sustainability issues began in 1984, when the Summer Olympics were held in Los Angeles and officials looked for ways to accommodate the influx of people.
