Congress finances Metro line extension with Westwood stop
The U.S. Congress recently allocated $130 million to finance the extension of the Los Angeles Metro line, according to a Metro statement released Jan. 14.The funding will be split in half to cover costs for both the Purple Line Extension project, which will go into Westwood Village, and the Regional Connector project – a Metro line extension across Los Angeles county.
